The American Literature Association conference will be held virtually this year, after being completely cancelled last year due to Covid. My talk “My Ántonia at Six Pages a Day: The Slow Read Project “ is part of a panel, ‘Cather and Her Readers’, organized and moderated by Kelsey Squire. The other speakers on the panel are William Gonch and Matthew Hitchman. The talks will be posted on the ALA website from July 7-11, 2021. I’m not sure how available they will be made to the general public, but I will post a link here if I can. Thanks to all of you who commented on the Slow Read experience, the focus of this recorded talk.
